Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Dias Jakupov ("we", "us"), the operator of the Plimm app. By using Plimm you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Plimm.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Plimm. Plimm is currently offered in the United States.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Plimm on devices you own, for your own non-commercial use, under these terms and the rules of the app store you got it from.
4. Plimm Pro subscription
- Plimm's AI features require a Plimm Pro subscription.
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time in your store's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the stores.
- We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and manage entitlements.
- If the price changes, the store will notify you under its rules before you are charged.
5. Plimm is not therapy
Plimm is a journaling app. It is not a medical device. It does not provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.
Responses in Plimm are generated by a language model running on your device. They can be wrong, incomplete, or unhelpful. They are reflections on your writing, not advice.
Plimm may show crisis resources when your writing suggests you may be in distress. This is informational only. The app does not monitor you, does not alert anyone, and cannot contact emergency services on your behalf.
If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. See our crisis resources.
6. Your content
What you write is yours. It is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us — we could not access it if we wanted to. Because of this, you are responsible for your device and its backups. If you delete the app or use Delete All Data, your journal is gone permanently and we cannot recover it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Plimm to break the law; not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app; not to reverse engineer it except where the law permits this despite these terms; and not to interfere with the services the app relies on.
8. Intellectual property
The Plimm app, its design, and its name belong to us. Open-source components included in the app remain under their own licenses. Your journal remains yours.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Plimm is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its AI output will be accurate or reliable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Plimm. Our total liability for any claim relating to Plimm is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the app.
12. Termination
You can stop using Plimm at any time; Delete All Data in Settings removes everything it stored. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
14. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. For material changes, we will also say so in the app. Continuing to use Plimm after a change means you accept the new terms.
