How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by your app store, not by us.

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Plimm → Cancel.
• Android: Google Play → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Plimm → Cancel.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Plimm Pro keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.

How do refunds work?

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their policies. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: request a refund through Google Play support. We cannot process store refunds ourselves.

I got a new phone. Where is my journal?

Your subscription follows your Apple or Google account — reinstall Plimm and tap Restore Purchase on the paywall or in Settings. Your journal does not follow. Entries live only on the device where you wrote them; that is the point of Plimm, but it means a new phone starts empty.

How do I delete my data?

In the app: Settings → Delete All Data. This is immediate and permanent. Uninstalling the app also removes everything. Nothing is stored on any server, so there is nothing else to ask us to delete.

Why does Plimm download a large file on first use?

Those are the AI models — about 437 MB in total, downloaded once. One writes the reflections; the other turns your voice into text. They are what let everything run on your phone instead of on a server. Wi-Fi is recommended, and you will need about 1 GB of free storage.

Can I journal by speaking instead of typing?

Yes. Open Write and tap the microphone. Plimm records, then writes down what you said, all on your phone — the recording is never uploaded. You can pick how long a take runs, and Plimm remembers your choice instead of asking every time. If you would rather not speak, "Type instead" is always there.

What happens to my recordings?

They stay on your phone so you can play them back. You can turn recordings off, or delete all of them, in Settings → Recordings. Deleting an entry deletes its recording too.

Why does Plimm say my device isn't supported?

Running a language model on a phone takes memory. Plimm needs about 3.5 GB of available memory and 1 GB of free storage. On devices below that, the AI cannot run well, so Plimm says so up front rather than failing quietly.
